The Scottish Crannog Centre wants to move to a bigger site in order to expand and develop our potential, and we need your support.

How can you help? By signing the petition below!


The Scottish Crannog Centre is an independent organisation acting as the trading company for the Scottish Trust for Underwater Archaeology (STUA, registered charity number SC018418). Any profits generated from the Centre are donated to STUA. Neither organisation receives fixed funding.

Funding is essential for any new developments at the Centre including enhancement of the exhibition area and the expansion of educational and events programmes.  It is also essential to help STUA to update equipment and to carry out training, research projects and the preservation of artefacts.

How you can help:
You can Gift Aid your entrance fee to the Scottish Crannog Centre simply by providing your postcode and signature on arrival at the Centre.  You can also make a one-off donation, please contact us for further information.

Where your money goes:
Your donation will be used to help maintain the Crannog Roundhouse and to fund our educational programmes together with underwater research and training carried out by the Trust.
