Celtic Crannog Bag Workshop with Hamish Odinson - Half-Goat Leatherworks'
Hamish will be running full-day workshops on both days where all participants will delve into ancient traditional leatherworking to create an authentic medieval Scottish leather bag known as the Loch Glashan Crannog or Celtic Crannog bag. The bag is based on an archaeological find at Loch Glashan Crannog on the west coast of Scotland. No previous experience is required, suitable for all ages 10+. All participants will take home their Crannog bag at the end of the day. The workshop is £80 per person to include all materials and the bag! From 10.00 - 17.00.
Booking is essential for the workshop. Maximum participants = 5 so please book early by contacting us by telephone or email.
Mini wand whittling workshops with Julie Durkacz
Julie will be running workshops for children aged 6 upwards from 10.30 - 12.00 and from 14.00 - 15.50. Children can get creative by learning basic whittling and carving skill to make their very own wand. All materials and tools provided and the wand will be yours to keep. Children must be accompanied by an adult with up to 3 children per responsible adult.

The event starts both days at 10 am, the site closes at 5.30pm.
Visitors to the event, in general, do not have to book - booking is required for the Leather Bag Workshop and for the Spoon Carving Workshops.
