Our 'Friends of the Crannog' Scheme aims to reward the Centre's many repeat visitors and to attract new supporters to help further research, training, conservation and new developments. These funds count as a donation and are reinvested in the Centre and support the work of the Scottish Trust for Underwater Archaeology (Charity no. 18418) on which it is based. Benefits for members include:

  • Unlimited visits to the Scottish Crannog Centre in the Season;
  • Discounts on special public events;
  • A bulletin highlighting events and new developments.
'Friends' Rates: March through November
  • Individual £10/year
  • Family £25/year
  • Couple £15/year
  • International (Please Contact Us)

If you would like to become a 'friend of the crannog' please print, complete and return our 'friends' application form (PDF Format). Should you wish to join while visiting the Centre, please note that we are unable to offset your admissions charge against current membership rates. Do you pay tax in the UK? If you pay by Gift Aid it is tax-free and we all gain. See the notes on our Gift Aid form (PDF Format) for further details. 'Friends' rates may be payable to either the Scottish Trust for Underwater Archaeology (Charity no. 18418) or to the Scottish Crannog Centre.
